Welcome to Medicine Lake ! Harty's Boatworks has been renting
boats on Medicine Lake since the mid 1960's. Our very existence
depends greatly on you enjoying yourselves, coming back again, and
your ability to take care of our equipment. A serious understanding
of the guidelines, requirements, and procedures will go a long way
for a mutually enjoyable experience for you, your guests, other
boaters, and the people you rent the boat from.
Renter: Must have valid I.D., major credit card, boating
experience, and at least 21 years old. Understands that illegal drugs
are not allowed, responsible use of alcoholic beverages is required,
and is aware that violations can constitute law enforcement by and
not limited to the Sheriff's Water Patrol, Minnesota D.N.R. or the
Plymouth Police Department.
Cargo Restrictions: No pets, barbeques,or kegs. Towing of
tubes, water skiers, swimmers, or anything else including other
boats is not allowed. The rental boats are solely for the purpose
of recreational boating, responsible operation is required. The
rental boat must be returned in good clean condition. Extra cleaning
may result in loss of deposit. Fees and Deposits: Credit cards may
be used as deposit to reserve boats. The amount of deposit is $100.00.
To reserve, call 763-546-6711. Cancellations are required
48 hours in advance,if not, loss of deposit may result. Full rental
fee is due at arrival time. We accept cash, major credit cards,
travelers checks, personal checks on approval. Please arrive a minimum
of 15 minutes before departure, no discounts for late arrivals,
no refunds for returning early, unless weather conditions dictate
otherwise. Attention to the rental times is required, late returnees
will be subject to additional rental fees and/or loss of deposit.
Parking: A maximum of 2 vehicles per boat is allowed. Overflow parking
is available nearby. Timely removal of vehicles after boating is
sometimes needed.
